About Navigator Notions​

Kellee Nolan is a Coast Guard Veteran, having completed over 20 years of active duty service as a Coast Guard cutterman.  She served over 10 years at sea, including as Commanding Officer of CGC ELM and CGC MAPLE.  Kellee is also an accomplished sailor, having completed several offshore races, as well as a 2-year, 15,000 mile sailing sabbatical in the Western North Atlantic and Caribbean Seas.  
   
Kellee creates custom, maritime-related notions.  These include marine canvas (sail covers, dodgers, biminis, shades), as well as accent pieces such as pillows and nautical-themed wall and table art.  She has skills in sewing, fiber arts, and furniture construction, having recently completed a 5-month apprenticeship at Benevolent Design Company in Virginia Beach, VA.
